To make it safer and easier for people to ride bicycles across metro Atlanta.

We believe bicycling can help build a healthier, more sustainable region with a higher quality of life, improved public health, cleaner air, reduced congestion, and stronger communities.

Our work
Advocating better conditions for bicycling, educating cyclists and drivers to share the road safely, providing programs to overcome the barriers to biking and to help people ride more confidently, and promoting the bicycle as a both a viable transportation solution and a community-building form of recreation and exercise.

Why
As the Atlanta region continues to grow, challenges in the areas of transportation, air quality, public health, and mobility accumulate. If we are to maintain the quality of life instrumental in attracting growth to our city and region, we must address these issues.

Bicycling contributes to a higher quality of life for all Atlantans by improving personal and public health while easing congestion. In addition, the bicycle industry and bike facilities add value to the local economy by providing business opportunities and enhancing economic development.
